Service Description

Nasya is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that supports the cleansing, lubrication, and rejuvenation of the entire head and neck region. The treatment begins with a soothing face massage and gentle herbal steam to open the channels (srotas) and prepare the tissues. Warm medicated oil is then carefully administered into the nasal passages, where it can penetrate deeply to clear congestion, nourish the sinuses, and calm the mind. This therapy is especially supportive for sinus congestion, allergies, headaches, migraines, common colds, and conditions affecting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, and head. Nasya also helps to cleanse and revitalise the sense organs, sharpen mental clarity, and improve memory and concentration. The session includes head and facial marma massage to enhance circulation, release tension, and support the therapeutic effects of the oils. Although gentle and effective, Nasya is not suitable for everyone. The treatment should be avoided during pregnancy, acute sinus infection, active cold or flu, fever, severe headache on the day of treatment, nasal bleeding, or immediately after eating. It is also contraindicated for individuals with chronic nosebleeds, recent nasal or sinus surgery, or acute inflammation in the nasal passages. Caution is advised for those with very high blood pressure, severe migraines, or sensitivity to strong smells or oils. Nasya should not be performed in very cold weather unless the client can remain warm afterwards, as exposure to cold air may aggravate symptoms.
