Service Description

Karna Purana is a soothing Ayurvedic therapy that nourishes the ears, calms the nervous system, and supports balance throughout the head and neck region. The treatment begins with a relaxing head and facial massage to release tension and stimulate key marma points. A gentle herbal steam is then applied to soften the tissues and open the channels (srotas), preparing the ears for the warm oil. Warm herbal oil is carefully poured into each ear and allowed to settle, coating the delicate structures within the ear canal. This deeply grounding therapy is traditionally used for all types of ear discomfort, including ear pain, tinnitus, vertigo, and insomnia. It helps lubricate dryness, soothe irritation, and calm aggravated Vata dosha, which governs the sensory organs and nervous system. Many people experience a sense of warmth, clarity, and deep relaxation during and after the treatment. Mild sensations such as tickling, itching, or temporary fullness in the ear can occur afterwards-these are normal responses and usually settle on their own. Karna Purana is gentle but not suitable for everyone. The treatment should be avoided in cases of: Eardrum rupture or perforation Any injury or trauma to the ear Active ear infection, discharge, or severe ear pain Recent ear surgery Severe wax impaction Fever or acute illness
