Service Description

Join Jo for a 90 minute walk around the lanes, fields and woods of Batcombe, learning about powerful, healing plants and how to use them. This is a very personalised experience, tailored to your needs. Includes a seasonal handout with recipes to try when you are home. Why not combine with a soothing warm oil massage after the walk and fresh air? Price per person for group size of 1-5) Ayurveda is about reconnecting with nature, be it our inner nature through an understanding of the doshas, or outer nature with the world around us. We live in a time with great potential for disconnection. Foraging is a wonderful way to reconnect with nature and eat exactly what our bodies need. I’ve spent the last decade learning about plants through the Ayurvedic lens. I love using herbs from India but I can forage for nettle, cleavers and wild garlic on my doorstep. Ayurveda sees that such local plants are most powerful for healing. As I walk the same fields and woods each season, the more I realise how foraging is transformative. "Thanks Jo for a great day foraging and making. Really enjoyed it. Learnt more from you today than 2 one day and 1 four day course. Will definitely be returning for spring/summer. Thanks for passing on your knowledge at such a reasonable cost." (Steve, Devizes)
