About the event
Summer is a special time to forage as plants are full of solar energy! We'll go for a walk around Batcombe woods and fields foraging as we go. We will focus on rose, elderflower, edible flowers and other key summer herbs. Maybe some wild strawberries too! Please bring foraging basket or bag. We'll then head to my home for some drinks and snacks and to make some delicious recipes:
Solstice Sun tea with various plants and edible flowers
Rose salt
Elderflower summer vinegar
You get to try other summer wildcrafted treats and then take home two wildcrafted recipes to try, and a full handout with recipes.
