About the event

Autumn is a time when nature provides many nutrient rich foods to help support us through the winter months. Many fruits are blue, red or purple meaning they are rich in anthocyanidins, with powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory action. We will forage for plants such as elderberry, rosehips, blackberries, hawthorn and sloes. Please bring foraging basket or bag. We'll head to my home for some warming drinks, snacks and to make or sample:

  • A hedgerow immune tonic for winter health (to take home)

  • Rosehip syrup

  • Elderberry shrub for autumn cocktails and mocktails

  • An autumn herbal apple cider vinegar (to take home)
