Why Naturopathy

Ayurveda wellbeing clinic
Held every Mon - Thurs 9am-5pm in BA4 6AB

'Ayurveda’ is a Sanskrit word, meaning ‘the knowledge of life’ and is the world’s oldest holistic healthcare system. Ayurveda’s timeless wisdom offers us a ‘Users Manual’ for how to get the most out of life. It offers a simple approach, without being simplistic. It can support with most health issues, including the following:

Digestion

Ayurveda places balanced digestion at the heart of health and can support with all digestive issues including healthy weight management, IBS, constipation, acidity, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.

Fatigue and sleep issues

We live in an over stimulated world and its hard to get the right rest we may need. Ayurveda takes a holistic view to nourishing the nervous system through herbs, warm oil massage and other treatments, a nourishing diet, yoga, mantra and breath practices.

Detoxification

Most people benefit from a short period of cleansing through diet and herbs. This helps remove 'ama' (toxins) before more nourishing 'rasayana' treatments can be given. You will be fully supported during this process.

Women's Health

Ayurveda can support with period issues, infertility, pre-conception and pregnancy care,  menopause transition and beyond. It can also help with fibroids, endometriosis and other more specific hormonal issues.

Skin issues

Most skin issues can be improved through honouring the gut/ skin connection- with diet and lifestyle support, as well as cleansing herbs and treatments.

Anxiety and Stress

A diet, lifestyle and herbal approach can support wherever you are on the spectrum of mental health and well-being. It can also support with related headaches and migraines.
